Stowe Boyd, (a new discovery for this site), reviews the continuing closure of the divide between email and chat on Gmail, and ends with a charming digression on his interest in having more people-centred search options in this kind of multipurpose archiving software. Good for you, mate. Some kind of Vivisimo product (see Clusty in the sidebar under Research and Search Tools) would work well there.
And get this! A comment aggregator is out in beta – CoCommenter. Stowe has screenshots. Pretty clever stuff if you’ve been cruising around like I do in the middle of the night (that would be now) and forget where you’ve been… Not everyone notifies by email if other comments are posted, do they. I’m going off to have a good look at that now, and to add Message to my expanding list of links on the side there, what a blog.
In other news, BMW has been excluded from Google for webspam. According to Matt Cutts, Ricoh is soon to follow.
