It’s a while ago now, but there was an interesting report in the Nation about US phone and cable companies’ interest in privatising the Internet.
On other jaunts, I found a new bookmarker/browser/blog editor all in one, probably in beta by now, called Flock. It has been compared favourably to a similar product, Qumana, by Michael Arrington over at TechCrunch. Both are free.

And over at the Search Engine Watch blog, Danny Sullivan has praised Google’s Adsense, claiming it ‘has definitely helped more people make a living from writing quality content online and spurred others to compete to reward these publishers, as well.’ (There is a complementary post, 25 Things I Hate About Google, to accompany this one.)

And whoops, I almost forgot! James Farmer had one brief shining moment of coming second over at Technorati the other day…
