bloogle emerges, bloggers need journalists

Posted on August 26, 2006.

There’s an evaluation over at TechCrunch of Google’s beta version of Blogger, which is considered a bit unstable at this point in time. But go have a look anyhow.
Link via Jeneane Sessums, with whom I had a lovely chat online during BlogHer ‘06 (see right, under ‘all the good stuff’.)

Over at BlogHer, which is positively jumping as members have emerged from another amazing conference, there’s a report on the imprisonment of a vlogger in the US who has refused to hand over his unpublished videotape footage of a protest to the courts. Lisa Stone’s comment provides further useful links for those interested in the alliance that’s emerging over this incident in the US between bloggers and journalists.
